exercise in stress reduction
 
  1. Remove yourself from the stressful situation  
  2. Don't overwhelm yourself  
  3. Learn how to best relax yourself  
  4. Change the way you see your situation; seek alternative viewpoints  
  5. Do something for others  
  6. Avoid extreme reactions
  7. Get enough sleep
  8. Avoid self-medication or escape
